Actus Nutrition in Jerome, Idaho is hiring a Dryer Operator for the night shift (5:00 PM–5:00 AM) at the Jerome West Plant. You will run dryer equipment efficiently, monitor quality, and maintain accurate records in a dairy processing environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a machine operator or equivalent skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Forklift operator license or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Understand and trace product lines from tote filling to the product supply tanks.
• Operate the dryer equipment in accordance with established procedures, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate packaging, coding, tagging, labeling, and storage of finished products.
• Maintain production/packaging records for efficiency, quality, and inventory control.
• Obtain sanitary tote samples for quality control in compliance with established procedures.
• Weigh finished product totes and document required paperwork.
• Operate the forklift safely and efficiently and record the status on the daily checklist.
• Report equipment and/or quality problems to the supervisor, quality control, and maintenance.
• Cleaning and CIP of all equipment and work areas.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and assist maintenance staff.
