Job summary

Agropur in Jerome, ID is hiring a Dryer Operator I to manage the whey permeate dryer and ensure quality permeate and protein powder production. You will perform daily operations, cleaning, and basic maintenance while following SOPs and sanitation schedules.

Starting wage is $23.12 per hour with two raises within the first year up to $1.00, plus shift differential and benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, a 401(k) with matching, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum two years of related experience.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, GMPs, SDS, and HACCP documents.
• Ability to follow written, verbal and diagrammatic instructions; complete simple checklists.
• Demonstrate ability to learn quickly and work with automated systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate the whey permeate dryer and ensure product quality.
• Perform daily equipment cleaning and basic maintenance.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Sustain and support automated systems.
• Adhere to SOPs and Master Sanitation Schedules.
