Job summary

NV5, Inc. is seeking a Dry Utility Project Manager in California to lead design and construction of energy infrastructure while growing the client portfolio from $3–7M annually. You will manage scope, schedule, budget, and quality while expanding relationships across utility, energy, and infrastructure programs.

This seller-doer role requires delivering project leadership and business development, leveraging internal teams, and applying AI-enabled tools to improve outcomes and profitability.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years PM experience in energy/utility/infrastructure environments.
• Proven ability to manage client portfolios and grow revenue.
• Experience negotiating contracts and pursuing PS work.
• Knowledge of project controls, metrics, and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and maintain project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction.
• Lead matrixed teams to deliver milestones and commitments on time and within budget.
• Drive business development and expand client relationships.
• Monitor KPI, risks, resource loading, and backlog.
• Develop account growth plans and proposals with marketing and technical teams.
