Job summary

KCW Engineering Technologies, Baltimore, MD, is seeking an experienced CAD Designer with dry utility design and Structural Facility Drawings (SFD). You will draft, read utility plans, and support projects across the Baltimore–Washington region.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in drafting or technical certification, AutoCAD proficiency, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Overtime may apply; a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

• Dry utility design including electric, gas, and telecom.

We are seeking a CAD Designer with experience in dry utility design and Structural Facility Drawings (SFD).

Minimum Qualifications:

• CAD design/drafting experience
• Structural Facility Drawings (SFD)
• Dry utility design, including:
  • Electric: BGE / PEPCO
  • Natural Gas: BGE / Washington Gas
  • Telecommunications: Comcast / Verizon
• Ability to read and interpret utility plans and construction drawings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Certification:

• Auto CAD

Education:

• Associate degree in drafting or technical school certification.

Compensation:

• $24.00-$41.00/hour (equal to $49,920-$85,280 annually)
• Position eligible for overtime
• Position eligible for discretionary bonuses at the sole discretion of the company
