Job summary

Qualifications

• Electrical distribution design experience required.
• Minimum 1-3 years in electrical distribution and BGE systems.
• Proficiency with MicroStation and CAD workflows.
• GIS knowledge and ESRI workflow experience.
• Bachelor's or Associate degree in CS or Engineering, or six years' related experience in lieu.

Responsibilities

• Complete fieldwork to field-truth construction drawings.
• Convert GIS data to and from many different coordinate systems.
• Copy, edit and reconcile conflicts through enterprise version control software.
• Combine powerful GIS capabilities with engineering standards to create high-quality construction documents.
• Creating, editing, and updating point, line, and polygon features with complex relational databases.
• Import high-resolution CAD drawings into GIS feature classes with extreme accuracy.
• Ensure the highest quality product for our client.

Candidate must have electrical distribution design and BGE system knowledge.Responsibilities:Electrical knowledge includes but not limited to power distribution (normal and emergency systems, lighting systems and controls, power studies, renewable energy design, and special systems).Complete fieldwork to field-truth construction drawings. Make sketches, take photos, measure conductor distances with a laser rangefinder.Convert GIS data to and from many different coordinate systems. Copy, edit and reconcile conflicts through enterprise version control software.Combine powerful GIS capabilities with engineering standards to create high-quality construction documents.Creating, editing, and updating point, line, and polygon features with complex relational databases.
