Job summary

World Resource News seeks a Dry Plant Manager for a brand-new frac sand processing plant in Strasburg, OH. You will lead end-to-end dry plant operations, supervise crews on 12-hour shifts, and coordinate with maintenance, logistics, and quality teams to ensure safety, throughput and product specs.

The role requires 5+ years in frac sand or similar industries, supervisory experience, and MSHA Part 46 training or the ability to obtain it.

Independence TX LLC is hiring a Dry Plant Manager for its brand-new frac sand plant with new equipment in Strasburg, Ohio, running the dry side of the facility end to end: drying, screening, conveying, storage, loadout and finished product quality. The manager directs daily dry plant operations including dryers, screens, conveyors, bucket elevators and storage systems, leads, trains and schedules dry plant operators, monitors throughput, moisture, equipment utilization, downtime and product quality with the Wet Plant Manager, ensures finished product meets customer specifications for moisture, gradation and contamination, works with maintenance on repairs and preventive maintenance, maintains MSHA Part 46 and environmental compliance, supports automation and equipment upgrade projects, oversees storage, inventory and loadout with Logistics, and reports to the Plant Manager.

Requirements include five or more years in frac sand, mining, aggregates, cement or industrial processing operations, previous leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment, and MSHA Part 46 training or the ability to obtain it; knowledge of industrial dryers, screening, dust collection and loadout, and a bachelor’s degree in mining or mechanical engineering, industrial technology or a related field, are nice to have.

The plant runs continuously and the role works 12-hour shifts with nights, weekends and overtime as needed.
