Job summary

TTM Technologies, Inc. is seeking a microscopy/microsection technician responsible for preparing and analyzing microsection samples of PCBs. You will work with solvents and PPE to ensure safety and accuracy, documenting tests and results for internal QA and compliance.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, an eye for detail, and the ability to work well in a small team. Manufacturing experience and microscope use are advantageous in this role.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience with microscopes or microscope-oriented tasks is preferred.
• Team-oriented and able to work well in a small group setting.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required; manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Involved in the preparation and analysis of microsection samples.
• Operate with chemicals such as alcohol and acrylics as needed.
• Work on micro sectioning samples of printed circuit boards.
• Perform product testing and complete documentation.
• Apply industry standards to determine acceptability of product.
• Communicate with supervisors; suggest procedural changes; maintain safety.
• Report accidents, near misses, and safety concerns; use PPE properly.
• Participate in safety training per JSA, MSDS, and safety procedures.
