Job summary

You'll plan technique, rhythm, ensemble playing, and performance preparation, adapting to grade level and site requirements while maintaining a safe, inclusive learning environment. Opportunities vary by assignment.

Qualifications

• Experience in drumline, marching percussion, or related performing arts disciplines.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or leading activities with school-age students.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging, age-appropriate drumline sessions.
• Introduce rhythm, technique, ensemble performance, and musicianship through structured rehearsals.
• Adapt instruction based on student level, site requirements, and available instruments.
• Support percussion technique development, ensemble skills, and performance preparation.
• Maintain a safe, respectful learning environment and communicate needs with Concorde and staff.
• Complete a brief session completion form after each scheduled session and follow site procedures.
