Job summary

Guitar Center, a nationwide music retailer, seeks a Music Teacher to deliver lessons under the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum. You will work to grow the student base while nurturing our culture of integrity, inclusion, musical passion, and respect.

You will partner with the store Lessons Lead to schedule students, teach proficient-instrument lessons, and support customers to create a great learning experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Music, Education, or related field
• Ability to teach the instrument they are proficient in (e.g., Drums, Guitar, Keyboard)
• Skilled at demonstrating competency and proficiency in their teaching area

Responsibilities

• Teach students using the Guitar Center Lessons Curriculum
• Partner with store Lessons Lead to schedule and retain student headcount
• Assist with customer service as needed to build long-term students
• Other duties as assigned
