Job summary

Webb County is seeking a Drug Testing Technician/Case Manager to observe specimen collection, administer tests, and provide case management for participants in the Drug Court Veteran’s Treatment Program.

You will maintain chain-of-custody, enter results into Sentry and the DCCM, coordinate services, and communicate test results to the Drug Court team. Travel to sites and testify in court when required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• At least 1 year of experience in drug testing, specimen collection, client services, clerical support, criminal justice, or behavioral health.
• Knowledge of Drug Court programs, procedures, and operations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
• Experience with electronic databases and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Observe urine specimen collection and ensure chain-of-custody procedures.
• Administer drug tests and oral swabs as trained, and perform breath alcohol tests when required.
• Maintain drug testing profiles and schedules in coordination with program staff.
• Document results and input data into Sentry and DCCM accurately.
• Prepare drug testing reports and manage inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Travel to branch offices and collection sites to perform duties and testify in court when needed.
• Perform front desk and clerical duties as assigned.
