Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Drug GM Department Supervisor to lead all department activities and ensure an outstanding customer experience in a fast-paced retail setting. You will supervise associates, manage inventory, schedule staff, and train team members while upholding safety standards and Kroger’s core values.

Responsibilities include promoting product knowledge, executing promotions, and maintaining a welcoming environment for customers and staff.

Qualifications

• Effective communication and numerical literacy for quick math done in daily operations.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure customer service situations.
• Experience managing a department or lead role is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions for the Drug GM department.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment and promote customer service.
• Develop scheduling to manage customer volume and staffing.
• Train and develop associates and participate in performance appraisals.
• Inform customers about Drug GM specials and promotions.
• Plan and implement a department business plan to hit targets.
