The Hudson Council On Aging seeks a Drug-Free Communities Program Coordinator to lead the CDC grant program for Hudson. You will collaborate with the Hudson Health Department, Hudson YSAP, and local stakeholders to advance youth substance-use prevention through community-level strategies.
Responsibilities include developing prevention plans, coordinating coalitions, reporting outcomes, and delivering outreach and training.
Introduction: The Drug-Free Communities Program Coordinator has the primary responsibility to implement the Centers for Disease Control Drug-Free Communities Grant Program in the Town of Hudson in collaboration with the Hudson Health Department, the Hudson Youth Substance Awareness and Prevention Coalition (Hudson YSAP), and community stakeholders. The goal of the DFC program is to reduce youth substance use through community-level prevention strategies and cross-sector collaboration. Supervision Structure: Hudson’s Director of Public and Community Health and the Hudson YSAP Leadership Team.
Minimal physical effort is required to perform duties under typical indoor environment. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, speak, hear, and use hands to operate office equipment. Vision requirements include the ability to read and analyze documents and use office equipment.
