Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb seeks an Associate Director, Drug Development Excellence to advance DD strategy, translate goals into practical frameworks, and drive improvements with an AI-enabled operating model. The role partners with leaders across DD to optimize processes and performance.

The role reports to the Executive Director, Drug Development Excellence and works in a highly matrixed environment to deliver measurable, sustainable outcomes across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 5–7 years in operational excellence, process improvement, or strategy roles in pharma.
• Experience with Lean/Six Sigma; certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep data-driven analysis of end-to-end Drug Development processes to identify inefficiencies and gaps.
• Translate insights into actionable recommendations linked to KPIs and outcomes.
• Map and maintain process maps and operating frameworks for efficient execution.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives end-to-end with clear scope and value realization.
