The Colorado Department of Education (CDE) seeks a passionate Dropout Prevention Support Specialist to coordinate statewide dropout prevention initiatives and trainings. You will partner with CDE staff, school districts, and community partners to advance student engagement and re-engagement efforts.

You will manage projects, develop monitoring processes, and support staff across divisions. A collaborative, outcomes-driven approach and strong communication are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in an education-related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in education, public administration, criminal justice, social work, or counseling.

Responsibilities

• Lead Dropout Prevention projects and manage monitoring processes.
• Coordinate with districts and state partners to develop trainings and resources.
• Lead Justice Engaged Youth projects and collaborate with agencies.
• Prepare materials and presentations for stakeholders and trainings.
