Job summary

Sonic is hiring a Drop Technician for our SoCal market. The role involves attaching service drops from aerial strand to customer buildings, full-time hours, with overtime as needed to deliver outstanding service.

Candidates must maintain OSHA and safety compliance, operate dispatch software, and handle up to 75 pounds. A valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record are required. Travel is expected, and company vehicles are provided.

Qualifications

• Understand and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and GO 95.
• Proficient with dispatch/workflow software.
• Able to lift and carry 75 lbs.
• Maintain a valid Local driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Understand and maintain compliance with all applicable OSHA regulations and GO 95; company policies.
• Set up ladders and traffic control zones per training; adhere to safety policies.
• Work well in a team environment and communicate effectively.
• Assist with setting up boom trucks and maintaining inventory of supplies.
• Maintain safety for self, team, and company property at the job site.
• Receive and interpret dispatch locations and duties; operate company vehicles and tools responsibly.
