Job summary

Trench Shoring Company in Compton, CA, seeks a reliable yard/delivery associate to assist with delivery and unloading of equipment at customer sites, ensuring safety and compliance. This fast-paced role requires strong attention to detail and good communication with customers and dispatchers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid and clean commercial Class C Driver's License.
• Crane certification preferred; company will train for crane certified operations if not certified.
• Forklift operation and welding experience desirable.
• Ability to read, understand and follow company procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the delivery and unloading of equipment at customer jobsites in a safe and timely manner.
• Follow policies and procedures to ensure the job is done properly and safely.
• Assist with coordinating delivery schedules using time-efficient routes.
• May be assigned to jobs after regular hours as needed.
• Coordinate effectively with customers, dispatchers and supervisors.
