Chamonix Casino & Hotel in Cripple Creek, CO is seeking a Drop Team/Cage role where you will handle and count large sums of money from slot machines and other gaming sources.

You will work with a team under supervision, perform routine, physically demanding tasks, and ensure compliance with state gaming regulations and internal controls. A Colorado gaming license is required, with benefits and competitive hourly pay based on experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collects, sorts, counts, wraps, and distributes large sums of coin or cash money, as directed, accurately and promptly from slot machines or other gaming revenue sources.
• Transfers or re-impresses money, as directed.
• Incumbents sign or obtain a proper authorization signature for all transactions, including entering or exiting secure areas, as required. Uses only approved forms in compliance with company policy and gaming regulations, which include but are not limited to Slot Summary Sheet, Count/Wrap Variance, Coin Vault Ledger, Transfer Sheets, Cash Transfers, Even Money Exchanges, and Hopper Summary Sheets.
• Operates and maintains coin counting and wrapping machines, as directed.
• Receives technical direction, training, and guidance from the Drop Team Lead or Casino Manager.
• Performs responsibilities in compliance with the Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Internal Control Minimum Procedures, internal policies and procedures, and Colorado Limited Gaming Regulations.
• Works as a team member and acts to assist coworkers with Drop Team duties.
• Maintains alertness for the performance of all responsibilities and a general awareness of casino operations at all times. Keeps the supervisor informed of any concerns.
• Complies with established security policies and procedures. Informs the Drop Team Lead, Casino Manager, and Security Supervisor of any concerns.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Demonstrated experience receiving, securing, handling, counting, reconciling, and distributing large sums of money. Demonstrated experience working as a member of a team while engaged in the performance of a highly routine and physically demanding work activity.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Graduation from high school or equivalent. One (1) or more years of recent and related experience working as part of a team in a casino setting is preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Must have a valid and current State of Colorado Gaming License.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

$23.00+ per hour based on experience
