Job summary

USIC is seeking a Drop Bury Technician in Minneapolis, MN to locate underground utilities and perform burial of coax and fiber optic lines. You will work outdoors, follow safety procedures, and document each locate with photos for customer compliance.

The role requires the ability to drive, operate digging equipment or hand tools, and coordinate with customers and teammates. A strong safety mindset and reliable performance are essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Comfort with manual labor and lifting up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to read locate tickets, maps, and prints.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willingness to work overtime, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle to outdoor job sites and perform locates and drop bury tickets.
• Locate and mark underground facilities using records and prints.
• Operate digging equipment or hand tools to trench or bore 6-8 inches.
• Photograph locates and complete required documentation.
• Maintain safety procedures and coordinate with customers and coworkers.
