Position Overview

The Drop Bury Technician is responsible for installing and burying fiber optic service drops from mainline distribution networks to residential or commercial customer locations. This role involves trenching, placing conduit or direct bury fiber, and completing site restoration in accordance with client specifications and safety standards.

Drop Bury Technicians work closely with fiber installation teams, construction supervisors, and restoration crews to ensure last‑mile fiber connectivity is installed efficiently and with minimal disruption to customer property.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Ability to bend, kneel, and work in trenches or confined spaces
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions
