Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Electronics Test Technician to test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic PCBs for drone systems on a manufacturing floor. You will diagnose issues down to the component level, operate test equipment, and document results to support product quality and reliability.

You will read schematics, work with production teams, and perform soldering for repairs as needed, while maintaining safety and organized work areas. This is a contract-to-hire role located onsite in Poway, CA.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in electronics testing, troubleshooting, or a closely related field.
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, mechanical drawings, wiring diagrams, block diagrams, and technical publications.
• Proficiency in using electronics test equipment (DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies, signal generators) and soldering for rework.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electronic circuit boards down to the component level to identify faults.
• Diagnose RF system issues to ensure proper functionality and performance.
• Set up, run, and analyze tests per product test procedures.
• Record test results accurately in product test records and documentation.
• Assist team members and escalate complex issues to leadership when needed.
