Job summary

Valcourt Building Services is seeking a Drone Operator to support pressure washing and window cleaning on mid-rise to high-rise buildings. You will fly the Lucid Bots Sherpa Drone, perform pre/post-flight checks, and execute site-specific work plans with a strong emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Required is FAA Part 107 certification and experience operating drones commercially; strong maintenance, inspection, and communication skills are also essential for coordinating with site

Qualifications

• FAA Part 107 Certification required for commercial drone operation.
• Experience operating drones for commercial applications, preferably in pressure washing or building maintenance.
• In-depth knowledge of drone operation laws and building safety standards.
• Strong troubleshooting and maintenance skills for drone equipment.
• Exceptional attention to detail, spatial awareness, and operational precision.
• Physical ability to transport, set up, and manage drone equipment.
• Basic understanding of building facades, pressure washing techniques, and water management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for team collaboration and client interaction.

Responsibilities

• Operate the drone for pressure washing and window cleaning on mid-rise to high-rise buildings.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections for safety and compliance.
• Analyze surfaces to tailor cleaning strategies.
• Maintain drone control to ensure safety and prevent damage.
• Follow FAA regulations and OSHA safety protocols.
• Prepare site-specific work plans including risk assessments.
• Document processes with before/after photos and client reports.
• Report technical issues or accidents to management.
• Coordinate with site teams for access, water sources, and schedules.
