Job summary

Amazon Prime Air is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Wilmer, TX to support drone maintenance and routine service, ensuring aircraft conform to design and remain in safe operating condition. You will collaborate with engineering, flight operations, and Prime Air teams to fulfill assigned responsibilities.

The role requires strong analytical skills, self-starting ability, and the capacity to work independently across shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and electrical integration or assembly.
• Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for shifts up to 12 hours, and frequently push/pull/squat/bend/reach.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• Experience with common business applications (MS Office, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities.
• Demonstrate understanding of fleet performance metrics.
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes.
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory.
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations.
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals.
