Job summary

Amazon Prime Air is seeking a Repair Technician to maintain drones and perform routine service. You will ensure aircraft conform to design and stay in safe operating condition, collaborating with engineering, flight operations, and Prime Air teams on assigned tasks.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for shifts up to 12 hours, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays with up to 25% travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and electrical integration or assembly.
• Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• Experience with common business applications and tools (e.g. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel).
• Experience in installing sub-assemblies and assemblies while working to drawings or CAD files.

Responsibilities

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities.
• Demonstrate understanding of fleet performance metrics.
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes.
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory.
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations.
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals.
