Amazon Prime Air is seeking a Repair Technician in Baton Rouge to maintain and service drones, ensuring aircraft conform to design and remain in safe operating condition. You will collaborate with engineering and flight operations, applying analytical skills and working independently.

The role demands lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for long shifts, and traveling up to 25%. The position supports an iterative, safety-focused environment with shifting schedules and on-call responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and electrical integration or assembly.
• Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• Experience with common business applications and tools (i.e. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc.)

Responsabilités

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities.
• Demonstrate understanding of fleet performance metrics.
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes.
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory.
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations.
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals.
