Job summary

Amazon Prime Air is seeking a Repair Technician to maintain and service drones, ensuring aircraft conform to design and stay in safe operating condition. You will collaborate with engineering and flight operations to deliver assigned tasks and maintain equipment readiness.

The role requires strong analytical skills, independence, and the ability to work across multiple teams. Shifts vary, including nights and weekends, with travel up to 25% and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical and electrical integration or assembly.
• Can carry/lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and frequently push, pull, squat, bend and reach.
• Travel up to 25% of the time.
• Experience with common business applications and tools (e.g. Microsoft Office).

Responsibilities

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities.
• Demonstrate understanding of fleet performance metrics.
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes.
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory.
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations.
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals.
