Job summary

Amazon Prime Air is seeking a Repair Technician in Richmond, VA to perform drone maintenance and routine service, ensuring aircraft conform to design and remain in safe operating condition. You will work with engineering and flight operations on assigned tasks, bringing strong analytical skills, self-starter attitude, and ability to work independently.

This role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing up to 12 hours, and travel up to 25%.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of mechanical and electrical integration or assembly experience.
• Can work weekends/nights/holidays and be flexible with shifts.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long hours in varying conditions.
• Experience with common business apps (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Drive time-based and condition-based maintenance activities.
• Show understanding of fleet performance metrics.
• Verify adherence to FAA regulations and Prime Air directives and processes.
• Manage fleet spare parts and inventory.
• Demonstrate proactive safety mindset in ambiguous situations.
• Follow detailed instructions outlined in technical manuals.
