Job summary

Ascendion is hiring a Drone Inventory Specialist in Austin, TX for a 6-month contract. This onsite role requires 24-30 hours/week with shifts including early mornings and weekend coverage.

You will manage daily receiving, packing, and inventory control for a new drone operations site, ensuring accuracy and readiness for flight operations. We seek hands-on inventory, warehouse, or logistics experience, familiarity with inventory software, and a ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in inventory, warehouse operations, logistics, or field operations.
• Experience with inventory/warehouse management software.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and operate a manual pallet jack.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily receiving, picking, packing, and stowing operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory of customer packages and site supplies.
• Operate manual pallet jacks safely to move freight.
• Use digital inventory/warehouse management systems to track stock movements and orders.
• Perform inventory audits and help maintain operational accuracy.
• Support daily site readiness and logistics workflows.
