Job summary

Devon Energy Corp. seeks an experienced GIS Professional to develop and maintain geospatial solutions, leveraging GIS tools for maps, models, and data quality. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and support the Drone Program with UAS data integration.

You will manage complex spatial analyses, automate workflows, and mentor staff while staying current with geospatial trends and regulatory requirements. Occasional field travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in geospatial data management, remote sensing, or cartography.
• Experience handling UAS imagery or data preferred.
• GIS professional certifications (preferred).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides GIS support for the Drone Program and integrates drone data with enterprise GIS.
• Occasional travel to field locations for training and demonstrations.
• Collaborates with field operations and tech teams to apply UAS data.
• Ensures alignment with FAA Part 107 regulations and internal policies.
• Leads GIS projects and mentors junior staff.
