Job summary

Devon Energy Corporation seeks a seasoned GIS Professional to drive geospatial solutions and support the Drone Program. You will manage GIS data, build maps and web apps, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring aerial data into daily operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in GIS/CS/Geomatics or related field; commensurate experience considered.
5+ years of relevant GIS experience preferred.
GISP and FAA Part 107 certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Supports the Drone Program as technical contact; troubleshoot data flow into GIS systems.
Travel occasionally to field locations to deliver training and demonstrations.
Collaborates with field ops, engineering and tech teams to develop UAS applications.
Maintains FAA Part 107 and corporate UAS policy knowledge for compliance.
Acts as GIS contact for enterprise integrations; creates map services and apps.
Develops GIS workflows; provides end-user training and support.
Uses programming to interact with GIS software and geospatial databases.
Ensures data integrity and accurate map representations; supports customization.
Performs complex spatial analyses and modeling for decision-making.
Implements data governance; conducts audits to maintain quality.
