Job summary

EA Engineering, Science, and Technology, Inc., PBC is seeking an experienced Drone & GPS Program Manager to lead our drone operations, manage equipment and pilot tracking, and serve as EA’s lead drone pilot.

You’ll have the opportunity to grow and innovate the program by exploring new technology, supporting and developing fellow pilots, and identifying tools and opportunities that improve efficiency and expand the value of drone services across the business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in geography, geology, engineering, spatial data science, or similar.
• FAA Part 107 UAS License.
• Experience in using Esri's ArcGIS Pro GIS software.
• Experience with GNSS GPS equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage drone and GPS equipment inventory, maintenance, firmware, shipping, and upgrades.
• Maintain and update SOPs, quick-start guides, flight logs, and maintenance records.
• Research, test, and evaluate new drone and GPS technologies.
• Train and support EA pilots, including quarterly meetings and troubleshooting.
• Manage onboarding and training for new pilots.
• Communicate new equipment, capabilities, and updates through internal postings and webinars.
