Job summary

Service Robot Co. seeks a field technician to install, repair, and maintain drones and docking stations at customer sites in the Los Angeles area. This contract role includes outdoor work, driving between sites, and occasional overnight travel.

You will diagnose faults, replace components, update firmware, and perform scheduled maintenance while keeping accurate service records. Training and certifications are provided free to selected candidates, with paid first job support.

Qualifications

• Experience with electronics repair, RC or FPV drone building, avionics, or low-voltage systems.
• Patience with small parts and precise repairs.
• Methodical fault-finding approach.
• Accurate records and clear communication.
• Willingness to drive, work outdoors, and travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair drones and docking/charging stations at customer sites.
• Diagnose faults in drones, docks, and charging systems.
• Repair or replace propellers, motors, electronic speed controllers, batteries, gimbals, and cameras.
• Update firmware and calibrate equipment.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections.
• Follow lithium battery procedures for storage, charging, transport, and disposal.
• Record faults, repairs, replacement parts, and follow-up work.
• Explain repairs and next steps to customers.
