Job summary

Service Robot Co. hires field technicians to install, service, and repair drones and docking stations at customer sites across multiple locations.

The role involves diagnosing faults, performing repairs, updating firmware, and completing scheduled maintenance with a focus on safety and accuracy. Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with electronics repair, RC/FPV drones, avionics, or low-voltage systems, and are comfortable working independently outdoors and traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with electronics repair, RC or FPV drone building, avionics, low-voltage systems, or similar hands-on work.
• Patience with small parts and precise repairs.
• A methodical approach to finding faults.
• Accurate records and clear communication.
• Comfort working independently at customer sites.
• Availability to drive, work outdoors, and travel overnight occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults in drones, docks, and charging systems.
• Repair or replace propellers, motors, electronic speed controllers, batteries, gimbals, and cameras.
• Update firmware and calibrate equipment.
• Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections.
• Follow lithium battery procedures for storage, charging, transport, and disposal.
• Record faults, repairs, replacement parts, and follow-up work.
• Keep spare parts available and report recurring problems.
• Explain repairs and next steps to customers.
