Job summary

Wing is offering a 12-week paid summer internship in Palo Alto, CA, designed for current degree-seeking students who will return to school after the program. As a Software Engineer Intern on the Commerce Team, you will contribute to platforms powering drone delivery, including the Partner Delivery Platform and Marketplace.

You’ll design and implement APIs and services, gain experience with cloud tech and microservices, and collaborate with a distributed engineering team to advance drone

Qualifications

Pursuing Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering with an expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Aug 2028.
Hands‑on programming in Java, C++, Python or Go.
Strong problem solving and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and support scalable APIs, backend services, and UI components for partner-end users.
Work with production-grade cloud technologies and microservices architectures to support high-volume transactions.
Gain hands-on experience across the full SDLC in a fast-moving, innovative environment.
Collaborate with a distributed engineering group delivering drone logistics solutions.
Develop deep industry expertise in commercial drone delivery.
