Job summary

Wing is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Intern to join the Manufacturing Team in Palo Alto, CA. You will help develop manufacturing lines and processes that bring Wing's autonomous delivery fleet to life, collaborating with lab and engineering teams on a high-impact summer project.

The internship is a 12-week, paid program with hybrid in-person work based in Palo Alto. Currently enrolled students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering are

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in ME, Manufacturing, or EE with graduation 2027–2028.
• Strong CAD modeling skills in SolidWorks/NX/Creo/Onshape.
• Foundational knowledge of DFA/DFM, tolerances, and prototyping.
• Experience with Python or C++ is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate hardware assemblies using DFA/DFM principles.
• Prototype automation concepts and test to reduce cycle time.
• Collaborate with manufacturing lab and engineering teams on a summer project.
