Job summary

Wing is seeking a sUAS Flight Operator to join the Flight Operations team on a 36-month fixed-term contract, based onsite in Durham, NC. You will operate Wing’s highly autonomous small unmanned aircraft systems as a Part 135 pilot-in-command, coordinating with technicians and field operators to ensure safe, compliant operations.

Requirements include a current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate, a clean driving record, and 3+ years in aviation or related safety-critical fields.

Qualifications

• Current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate.
• Three or more years in safety-critical aviation or similar industries.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English.

Responsibilities

• Qualify as a Part 135 sUAS Flight Operator for Wing’s autonomous drone service.
• Operate with a team of technicians and field operators.
• Maintain flight readiness and safety standards.
• Coordinate with Flight Operations Manager for daily operations.
• Support training and compliance activities.
