Job summary

Amazon seeks an Innovation & Design Engineer to lead the development of drone delivery operations site designs. You will integrate across drone engineering, maintenance, operations, and site construction, owning mechanical and electrical design of equipment and the overall site layout.

You will balance cost, throughput, and schedule against diverse requirements, driving the next generation of drone delivery sites as we scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of design & innovation, research & development work experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any domain), Operations, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience with design & innovation and research & development.
• Experience in management of engineering design projects.
• Experience using business or technical software like MS Excel, MS Project, and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• This role will require occasional travel (10-20%) to support site launches and learn from existing operational sites.
