Base pay range

$24.00/hr - $28.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) safely during all phases of ground and flight operations, including emergency procedures.
  • Coordinate flight schedules, airspace access, and resource allocation for UAV missions.
  • Support integration and testing of UAV systems and related technologies.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams; maintain professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Perform routine inspections and ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Travel as needed for project assignments; occasional weekend work may be required.
  • Complete additional tasks and duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • FAA Part 107 certification required.
  • Minimum 2‑3 years of UAV flight and technical experience.
  • At least 2‑3 years of geospatial experience required.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D; familiarity with Leica Cyclone is a plus.
  • Prior land surveying experience (1‑3 years) preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with clients and team members at all levels.
Skills & Knowledge
  • Understanding of UAV operations, airspace coordination, and safety protocols.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and maintain UAV systems.
  • Knowledge of surveying principles and geospatial data collection.
  • Comfortable using CAD software and related tools for project deliverables.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods (8+ hours).
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, humidity, rain).
