Job summary

Evolution Driveline, LLC is seeking a teardown technician to perform disassembly of transfer cases and related components. The role involves following team lead directions, using basic automotive skills and power tools, and coordinating with drivetrain technicians to identify units for teardown.

Responsibilities include staging parts for wash/blast, washing components, maintaining a clean workspace, and cross-training in other shop areas. Competitive benefits and holidays are offered.

Qualifications

• Basic automotive or mechanical skills.
• Familiarity and/or use of power tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to cross-train in other areas of the shop.

Responsibilities

• Receives direction from team lead on priority teardowns.
• Remove internal bearings, and gears and discard them appropriately.
• Work with the builders/drivetrain technicians to identify units that need to be torn down.
• Stage removed parts for wash and blast.
• Wash and blast components and cases
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace, properly disposing of worn parts
• Other tasks as directed, including cross-training in other areas of the shop
