The Drivetrain Specialist will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining engines and transmissions in various types of vehicles. This role requires deep technical knowledge of drivetrain components and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair major vehicle components including engines, transmissions, and differentials.
- Disassemble and reassemble vehicle engines and transmissions.
- Conduct thorough inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and reliability.
- Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components and systems.
- Interpret and follow complex technical diagrams and manuals.
- Communicate effectively with Recon Managers regarding vehicle issues and repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of each repair performed on vehicles.
- Stay updated with new technologies and techniques in automotive repair.
Requirements
- Certification from a recognized automotive training institution.
- Proven experience as an automotive technician with a focus on heavy line repairs.
- In-depth knowledge of modern automotive technology and heavy machinery.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic software and equipment.
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Preferred Education and Certification
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational schooling preferred.
- Experience with multiple foreign and domestic platforms.
- Certification from a recognized automotive institution such as ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) in areas like engine performance and transmission repairs.
