Carolina SeniorCare is seeking a dedicated Driver to transport PACE participants in the Statesville area. You will follow schedules, assist with boarding/exiting, and ensure safety and reliability in daily routes.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma, NC driver’s license, and CPR certification. Defensive driving within 4 months and 1+ year of elder care experience are preferred. Excellent benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid North Carolina Driver's License is required.
• Defensive driving course within four (4) months of hire is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• At least one year of experience with frail elderly individuals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport participants to and from medical appointments and activities.
• Assist participants boarding and exiting vehicles when needed.
• Follow transportation schedules and communicate route changes with dispatch.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and maintain records.
• Deliver meals, medications, and durable medical equipment as needed.
• Communicate participant needs to the interdisciplinary team and follow safety guidelines.

Driver - Full-Time or Part-Time

Under the supervision of the Transportation Coordinator, the Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of EveryAge PACE participants. This includes transporting participants to medical appointments and activities, as well as delivering meals, pharmacy items, and durable medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
