Job summary

J.P. Mascaro & Sons in Dunmore, PA, seeks Driver Helpers for the solid waste collection team. Helpers ride on the rear of the truck, assist the driver, and perform curbside waste/recycling collection with a focus on safety and customer service.

Position is full-time from the Dunmore Division; attendance bonuses and extra hours are available as part of compensation. Candidates should be able to lift heavy loads and work outdoors year-round.

Qualifications

• Able to stand, walk, and carry items for long periods.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds repeatedly.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must climb onto/off the truck and ride on the rear step.
• Provide frontline customer service during routes.

Responsibilities

• Assist driver with safe navigation from the rear of the truck.
• Perform curbside waste and recycling collection tasks.
• Support daily workload and maintain route efficiency.
• Complete tasks in a safe, compliant manner.

Description

Our Nanticoke Division is looking for reliable and dependable Driver Helpers to play a critical role on the solid waste collection team. The Helpers on this team will be leaving out of the Dunmore Division location. This position requires you to ride on the back of a trash truck and perform several essential roles, such as assisting the driver to safely navigate the truck, frontline customer service, and collect curbside waste and/or recycling in a safe and efficient manner.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
