MTM Transit in the United States seeks professional Drivers to join their team in Yavapai County. Training classes start weekly, offering a pathway into non-emergency medical transportation with a focus on safety and community service.

Starting hourly rate is $16.00 with onsite training in Phoenix, benefits including medical, dental, and vision, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays and PTO, and opportunities for internal career growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Must be 25 years or older.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license.
• Minimum of 5 years driving history.
• No pending charges or major felonies in past 7 years.
• No DUI/DWI convictions.
• Pass criminal background check and MVR.
• DOT physical if over 65 and pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate defensive driving skills.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist passengers with loading/unloading.
• Assist with mobility device and safety protocols.
• Ensure on-time pickup and drop-off.
• Understand needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities.
• Complete vehicle pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Use tablets or electronic devices as required.

What you’ll need:

Experience, Education & Certifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

• Must be 25 years of age or older

• Valid Arizona Driver’s license

• Minimum of 5 years driving history

• No pending charges

• No convicted felony charges in past 7 years

• No DUI or DWI convictions

• Must pass criminal background check & motor vehicle record investigation

• Must pass a DOT physical if over the age of 65 including a pre-employment drug screening

• Valid Authorization to work in the United States

Skills:

• Ability to use a tablet, GPS, two-way radio, or other electronicdevice

• Ability to maintain a high level ofconfidentiality

• Ability to communicate with others and comprehendinstructions

• Ability to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, andschedules

• Ability to obtain knowledge of FTA, ADA, and DOTregulations

• Familiarity with the main roadways and major highways in the servicearea

What You’ll Do:

• Provide safe and reliabletransportation

• Demonstrateexcellentdefensivedrivingskills

• Provide excellent customer service to both internal and externalstakeholders

• Must assist with passenger loading and unloading fromvehicle

• Must assist with any mobility device and securement as required for safetyprotocols

• Ensure the on-time pick-up and drop-off of thecustomer

• Demonstrates understanding and sensitivity to the needs of older adults and individuals withdisabilities

• Complete thorough vehicle pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections asrequired

• Complete paperwork asrequired

• Utilize tablets or electronic devices asrequired
