Job summary

MTM Transit is seeking drivers to join our team in Gila County, Arizona. Training starts weekly, with onsite sessions in Phoenix. The role focuses on safe transportation, excellent customer service, and adherence to DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must pass criminal background check and MVR investigation.
• DOT physical required if over 65 with pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and 5 years driving history.
• No pending charges or DUI/DWI in past 7 years.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate defensive driving skills.
• Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist with passenger loading/unloading.
• Assist with mobility device and securement as required.
• Ensure on-time pick-up and drop-off of customers.
• Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections; complete paperwork.
• Use tablets or electronic devices as required.

AAA is looking for Drivers to join our team in Gila County. We currently have training classes that start every week!

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
• Must be 25 years of age or older
• Valid Arizona Driver's license
• Minimum of 5 years driving history
• No pending charges
• No convicted felony charges in past 7 years
• No DUI or DWI convictions
• Must pass criminal background check & motor vehicle record investigation
• Must pass a DOT physical if over the age of 65 including a pre‑employment drug screening
• Valid Authorization to work in the United States

Skills

• Ability to use a tablet, GPS, two‑way radio, or other electronic device
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
• Ability to communicate with others and comprehend instructions
• Ability to understand highway traffic signs, signals, maps, manifests, and schedules
• Ability to obtain knowledge of FTA, ADA, and DOT regulations
• Familiarity with the main roadways and major highways in the service area

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation

• Utilize tablets or electronic devices as required
