Global Medical Response seeks a Wheelchair Driver in Florida to respond to transportation requests and deliver high-quality care and service to patients. The role focuses on safe, efficient, and compassionate patient transport for facilities, with responsibilities in documenting trips and maintaining patient confidentiality.

This full-time position requires a valid state license, a GED or high school diploma, CPR, and a compliant driving record.

Qualificações

Responsabilidades

• Respond to dispatch requests and transport customers efficiently.
• Document trip details and follow policy while protecting privacy.
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle and report issues to Fleet Manager.
• Communicate using standard radio codes and follow security standards.
• Operate wheelchair, stretcher and lift; use PPE and dispose supplies properly.
• Collaborate professionally with clinical staff and operations teams.

IMMEDIATELY HIRING! DRIVER FULL-TIME Opportunity

We're hiring Wheelchair Drivers that will respond to requests for transportation needs and deliver high-quality care, treatment and customer service to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Drivers will respond to operation and dispatch requests and use the necessary tools, maps and addresses to efficiently transport customers to and from facilities in a timely manner.
• Clearly document trip information details and adhere to company policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality and patient rights.
• Take pride in maintaining a safe and clean vehicle environment for patients, complete the regular mechanical checklist at the start of shifts and report any vehicle issues to the Fleet Manager as needed.
• Use appropriate communication methods including standard radio transmission codes to effectively respond and route patients and comply with the company's information security standards.
• Drivers will operate transportation equipment including stretcher, hydraulic lift, wheelchair as well as be able to use protective personal equipment and manage disposal of supplies as necessary.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow drivers and operations team.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• State Driver's License
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• CPR card
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Some work experience, preferably in healthcare
