Job summary

AAR in Florida is seeking a Driver / Warehouse Clerk to deliver inventory to designated points and manage stock within a fast-paced warehouse. You will drive a company vehicle to OEM and military bases, unload shipments, and ensure accurate inventory locations.

This role requires a valid license and the ability to obtain forklift certifications. The position is full-time on the first shift, with occasional overtime based on operational needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of three months related experience or training.
• Experience operating a box truck.
• Warehouse experience with inventory handling and bar code equipment.
• Proficient with computer-based data entry systems.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Forklift/reach truck experience preferred and certifications obtainable.
• Security clearance ability is required.

Job description

The Driver / Warehouse Clerk is responsible for delivering inventory to designated delivery points using company vehicle. Ensure that all inventory is properly categorized and accounted for. Receive inventory as needed and ensure that the entire shipment is unloaded.

What You Will Be Responsible For

• Drive inventory using company vehicles to deliver to designated delivery points (OEM and/or Military Base).
• Unload incoming inventory from trucks.
• Stock inventory into shelf locations.
• Pick inventory for shipment to customers or repair vendors.
• Perform inventory cycle counts.
• Research missing parts to find current locations.
• Receive necessary amount of HAZ/MAT training hours.
• Operate fork lift equipment.
• All other duties as assigned.

What you will need to be successful in this role:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• A minimum of three months related experience and/or training.
• Experience operating a box truck.
• Previous experience in warehousing, handling inventory, and bar code equipment.
• Proficient with computer-based data entry systems.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Forklift and/or reach truck experience preferred and must be able to obtain forklift and reach truck certifications.
• Employment is contingent on the ability to obtain and maintain a "Confidential Security Clearance."

• Full-time position; 1st shift hours, Monday through Friday.
• Occasional overtime may be required based on operational needs.
