Job summary

Silvi Materials is hiring a Driver Trainer in Southampton, NJ. The role focuses on delivering comprehensive driver training, enforcing safety standards, and coaching drivers to meet regulatory requirements under OSHA, EPA, and DOT guidelines.

You will develop training programs, supervise on-site safety initiatives, and collaborate with site managers and the Head of Safety. Regular travel is required to support multiple locations and projects.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A/B with current DOT medical card is required and driver qualification standards must be met.
• Ability to assist in developing, implementing, and coordinating health and safety programs and training.
• Experience in reducing safety risks and conducting safety training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer driver training curriculum for new drivers and develop new training to address safety trends.
• Conduct ride-alongs, coaching, and inspections to ensure safe driving practices and proper inspections.
• Lead safety trainings and participate in Toolbox talks and Driver Safety Meetings.
• Investigate accidents and incidents with Head of Safety to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Provide reports and KPI summaries to the Head of Safety on a regular basis.
