U.S. Xpress, Ellenwood, GA is seeking a Driver Development Specialist to deliver driver training in orientation, using classroom, one-on-one, and hands-on methods.

You will implement simulator training, maintain records, and coach drivers in collaboration with Operations and Safety to meet DOT and company standards. Strong presentation and coaching skills are required.

Minimum 3+ years in training, CDL Class A preferred, and willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualificações

• 3+ years in training/development delivery
• 3+ years of OTR (Class A CDL) experience preferred
• Experience as third-party tester or CVTA Master Level Instructor preferred
• Transportation, Logistics, and/or Tech industry experience a plus

Responsabilidades

• Deliver driver-facing development in classroom, one-on-one, and hands-on settings
• Present information using varied instructional formats such as role-play and simulations
• Facilitate simulator training and contribute to content improvements
• Provide one-on-one training for at-risk students to support completion
• Maintain attendance, class completions, evaluations, and coaching records
• Conduct safety-related reviews and DOT compliance assessments
• Coach drivers with Operations and Safety on violations and standards
• Lead in-person trainings and regular department meetings
