U.S. Xpress is hiring a Driver Development Specialist at the Ellenwood, GA terminal. This role delivers classroom, one-on-one, and hands-on training to the driver population, using simulators and learning management tools to ensure compliance with safety standards and DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in training and development delivery.
• 3+ years of OTR Class A CDL experience preferred.
• Experience as third-party tester or CVTA Master Level Instructor preferred.
• Transportation, Logistics, and/or Tech industry experience a plus.
• Knowledge of federal and state traffic laws preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for training execution and manage the learning environment.
• Deliver classroom, one-on-one, and hands-on training for drivers.
• Conduct on-road tests and evaluations for compliance with DOT/FMCSR.
• Maintain records of attendance, completions, and coaching sessions.
