Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a local Commercial Truck Driver Trainee in Springfield, OH. This active, full-time role pays a base wage of $21.00 per hour while you complete behind-the-wheel CDL-A training with experienced drivers.

You will deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals and universities on a Monday–Friday schedule with starts between 3 AM and 5 AM, learning route deliveries and licensure along the way.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• CDL A Permit required.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• Must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities.
• Learn specialized route delivery while completing licensure.
• Participate in behind-the-wheel CDL-A training with experienced drivers.

Location: 4980 Gateway Blvd., Springfield, OH

Gordon Food Service is hiring a local Commercial Truck Driver Trainee. This is an active, full-time employee position where you will earn a full wage while completing behind-the-wheel CDL-A training alongside experienced drivers. You will deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities, learning specialized route delivery while completing your licensure.

Schedule: Monday-Friday. Start time 3 AM-5 AM until route finish

Pay: $21.00/ hour

• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
