Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Columbus, OH is recruiting for a Commercial Truck Driver Trainee (Local). This full-time role offers paid training behind the wheel of CDL-A and route delivery to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities until licensure is completed. Shifts run Monday through Friday starting at 5 am until the route is finished.

Pay is $21.00 per hour with bonuses and incentives. Benefits start day one, weekly pay, wellness reimbursement, profit sharing, and a company 401(k) match

Qualifications

• CDL A Permit required.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• Must be registered through the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide consent.

Responsibilities

Commercial Truck Driver Trainee (Local)

Location: 1111 Rarig Ave, Columbus, OH

This is an active, full-time employee position where you will earn a full wage while completing behind-the-wheel CDL-A training alongside experienced drivers.

You will deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities, learning specialized route delivery while completing your licensure.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, Start time 5 am until the route is finished

Pay

Pay: $21.00/ hour

• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
